Meditating On the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Meditating Is Good for you. Of course it is! A matter of fact we rarely don't do it. You meditate in the shower, you meditate on the drive to work, and yes you do it all day at work. But exactly who's thoughts do you meditate on? Who's dreams? We are meditating on the future, and yes, some times on the past. The goal in mind is what's next and will it be different from before? Will we or can we make better choices this time? We even meditate on death. We wonder how will we die. We wonder how we would rather die. All of this information and random thoughts seem to be for nothing, because control of the future isn't exactly something we possess. These daily transitions of thought and internal dialogue are not without purpose though. We need them to prepare us for anything and everything. Who knows what is around the corner?
