Healing Meditation for Angry Teens

During adolescence we experience a surge in hormones and emotions that we are never likely to experience before or after in our lifetime. The passion ignited by these hormonal surges can be both creative and wonderful as well as destructive and violent. Many teenagers, and parents of teenagers, find that their children are angry and hostile and question what they can do to bring back the happy child they once knew.
One interesting theory that often goes unexplored is meditation. Healing meditation has been shown to lower blood pressure, improve concentration, and cool angry tendencies. Angry teens who are able to attend spiritual healing workshops and learn about meditation, leave with a life skill that they will never forget. Meditation can help us to bear grief, cool red hot anger, and deal with depression and anxiety. This is by far one of the most effective, medication-free ways of dealing with adolescent instability.
